Did you know....
..that if you are renting out a property
since 1st of October 2008, you need an EPC as a legal requirement before marketing of your property can begin. The EPC is valid for 10 years and can be carried out by one of our accredited and fully insured energy assessors. You also need a landlords Gas Safe certificate covering all gas appliances in the property, these are required ever year.
..that if you are selling a property
even though the Home Information Pack has been suspended as of 21st May 2010 until it is eventually abolished altogether, it is still a legal requirement to have an EPC when selling your home. If you've had an EPC as part of a HIP previously, this is valid for 3 years, if it is now out of date we can arrange an assessment at very competitive rates.
